IMDB rating: 7.30 Plot: Scotty Smalls moves to a new neighborhood with his mom and stepdad, and wants to learn to play baseball. The neighborhood baseball guru Rodriquez takes Smalls under his wing, and soon he’s part of the local baseball buddies. They fall into adventures involving baseball, treehouse sleep-ins, the desirous lifeguard at the local pool, the snooty rival ball team, and the travelling fair. Beyond the fence at the back of the sandlot menaces a legendary ball-eating dog called The Beast, and the kids inevitably must deal with him. |

Movies about young boys?
I’m looking for movies about boys roughly ages 10-14, that I could relate to, having once been a young boy.
I’m looking for Drama or Comedic Drama films, but don’t let that limit your suggetions too heavily. Just please don’t leave me with something too depressing.
Some that I already love include Billy Elliot, Wild Tigers I Have Known (weird films like this are ok, as are gay themed movies), I’ll Remember April, Son of Rambow, Stand By Me, The Sandlot, Du Er Ikke Alene ( I’d prefer engish language films, but subbed foreign films are alright too.

wow, go figure you people would call me a pedo, Most of the movies I listed were not about sexuality, and I just happen to like movies about boys because, like I said I used to be one, and have two sons of my own. I do not "get off" on kids, thank you.
Hopefully you’re not planning to get off to these movies…
